A 3.5-hour educational program and support group for children of divorce. Classes may be combined, depending on the total number that registers in each age group. No refunds unless cancellation is confirmed in writing at least 24 hours before the class meets.
This class meets in Pembroke Pines at 10031 Pines Boulevard, Upstairs Conference Room, from 4:30 am to 8:00pm. Classes may be combined with children of various ages depending on the total number that registered. Pre-registration is required.

A mandatory 4-hour parenting class, which is designed for parents who are divorcing and who have minor children (under 18 years). This class teaches parents about divorce, and how their options and their decisions could affect their lives and the lives of their children. Pre-registration is required for this class. A Positive Divorce Resolution Parenting/Divorce Class. Saturday. 8/21/2010. 9:30pm-1:30pm.
A mandatory 4-hour parenting class, which is designed for parents who are divorcing and who have minor children (under 18 years). This class teaches parents about divorce, and how their options and their decisions could affect their lives and the lives of their children. Pre-registration is required for this class. THE DIVORCED FATHER
This class meets for 4 consecutive weeks (1.5 hours) each time. It is designed to help fathers develop new skills, which they can use to help themselves and their children adjust more appropriately to the life-changing process of divorce. cost is $25.00/session. Fathers pay for all 4 sessions up front and there is no refund. Through this course, fathers will learn how to communicate more effectively with their ex-spouse and with their children, how to avoid or manage conflict, how to cope with stress and manage anger and to be a more effective dad. Sandcastles Group for Children of Divorce: This 3.5-hour program is an educational and support group for children of divorce ages 6-17 years. Through internationally recognized program, children learn about divorce and they receive valuable skills that they can utilize when the feel sad, angry or confused. Parents are not allowed in this class. It is designed for children only and it is different from the 4-hour parenting class that is a requirement for parents.
Pre-registration is required. At the end of the program, children receive a certificate of completion, which their parents will present to their attorney or to the Family Court.

A 3.5-hour mandatory and voluntary educational and support group for children of divorce ages 6-17 years. Through this group, children learn what divorce means. They also learn effective skills that they can use to help themselves adjust appropriately.
This class is for children only. There is a separate class (A Positive Divorce Resolution) that is mandatory for parents.
