Each journal remains at the respective parent’s home, where the child makes an entry following each weekly visit and leaves it for the parent to read after he/she leaves. Concerns uncovered are addressed during the next visit. This keeps the parent-child communication and relationship strong.

A mandatory 4-hour parenting class, which is designed for parents who are divorcing and who have minor children (under 18 years). This class teaches parents about divorce, and how their options and their decisions could affect their lives and the lives of their children. Pre-registration is required for this class. This class will be held at Memorial Pembroke Hospital, 7800 Sheridan Street, Room 366. Please be on time. Please do not call the hospital directly. For information, please call (954) 438 5661. This class satifies the 4-hr parenting class that is a requirement for divorcing parents in Florida. Clients with confirmed indigent status from the courts are admitted by paying a $20 fee.
